A total of 528 specimens belonging to 91 species and seven families were found in the collections of Odonata at the Obafemi Awolowo University, Ile-Ife Osun state Nigeria. The seven families include Libellulidae (79%), Coenagrionidae (15%), Chlorocyphidae (3%), Calopterygidae (1%), Aeshnidae (1%) and Platycnemidifae (Taxonomic Coverages
